Who am I?

Good question. I’m Tyler (or Ty, either is fine by me), an editor and writer with nearly a decade of experience covering a diverse range of topics, including cannabis, technology, music, and culture.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida in 2013, I returned to my roots in New York City to try my hand at a career in news writing. While residing in Brooklyn, I was afforded a number of amazing opportunities, starting off as a freelance writer for a wide array of online and print publications, including High Times, Merry Jane, All3DP, Brooklyn Magazine, among others.

Looking to further my career as a content creator, I moved to Germany for a full-time position as an Editor at All3DP. A fresh-faced startup at the time, offering a mixture of editorial prowess and SEO-focused initiatives, I helped All3DP become the world’s leading 3D printing resource, eventually attracting over one million unique visitors to the website every month.

After spending a fruitful year-and-a-half in Germany, I returned back to the U.S. and was soon offered an Associate Editor position in Los Angeles with the cannabis software company Weedmaps. Eager to get involved with the budding cannabis sector, I ventured off once again for a new journey in a booming industry. In my role with Weedmaps, I worked as an editor and SEO content producer across three different editorial platforms, managing a pool of freelancers while also occasionally writing feature stories.

And that brings me to the present day. While my recent work has been primarily centered around cannabis and 3D technology, these two industries are constantly intersecting with other mainstream topics, such as culture, music, athletics, and more.

When I’m not banging away on my laptop keyword, I like to spend my spare time making music, running, hiking, or traveling around the world. If you’d like to know more about me and my experience, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you like what you see.
